Huksters started with a simple frustration: small businesses have no good way to tell their own neighbourhood what's new.
Huksters began with a walk through a market in Jaipur. Half the shops had something worth knowing about — a new menu, fresh stock, a weekend discount — and almost none of it was findable online. Search engines favoured whoever had the budget for ads. Social media favoured whoever posted the most, not whoever was closest or most relevant right now.
So we built a feed with a different rule: no following required. Set your city and category, and see what’s actually happening — sorted by time, not by who paid or who posted more. For businesses, that means every post reaches the neighbourhood the moment it goes live, whether they have ten regular customers or ten thousand.
We’re early, and we’re building this alongside the shop owners and shoppers who use it. If you run a local business or just want a better way to find one, we’d like your feedback — get in touch.
Every decision starts with the same question: does this help someone find a business near them, or a business reach someone nearby?
A business's post reaches its city and category whether it's a two-person shop or a growing chain. Visibility isn't for sale.
We test every feature with actual business owners before shipping it — not just with each other.
No algorithm to reverse-engineer, no engagement tricks. A feed that just shows what's happening, in order.
Browse the feed, or list your business in a few minutes.
